I am new to the adding textures, I took a photo that I snapped back in August and decided to play around with it. Any thoughts on whether the treatment is too much, not enough, just enough? Does it work with this photo? TIA

I keep coming back to this and trying to decide it I like it or not. The answer is both.
Not so sure about the toneing in her skin. It reminds me of pale skin you see on a corpse. (God I am sorry for that but didnt know how else to say it)
BUT, with that being said, part of the is becasue of the drak dark colors in the background that make her look so pale.
I'm thinking if you got rid of those, brought out more blue in those killer eyes it would make all the difference in the world.
I must say that you are very lucky to have such a gorgeous lil model!

Thank you! I am going to try the things that you suggested. Isn't she gorgeous! She's the daughter of a friend of mine, I practically begged her to let me take her picture.

I'm not sure if the texture has added anything to the shot or not. The texture isn't visible in the highlights (which is pretty much all of this gorgeous girls pale skin) and the rest of the shot already had nice bokeh.

It's difficult to tell without doing a side by side comparison. That said, I don't think it doesn't work.
