Split Toning Critique

I have been trying to get better at split toning so I wanted to post this image and see what everyone thinks. I chose this picture because it was taken late in the day and color were very monochromatic to start.

My question is how does this look for a split tone and please advise on what you would have done differently on it.



Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.04 sec (1/25)
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 180 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Lightroom for PP - Khaki for highlights and grey for shadows

I think thats just a beautiful shot! The only thing that I can pick up (and Im a beginner, so I may be out of place) but at the top of the plant, where the sun meets it, you loose some colour and definition of the plant? But overall, its a great effect

It looked better with the sky blown out and the rest a little overexposed thus the loss of detail in the plant. Thanks for commenting!
