Here's my first attempt at HDR.
The picture itself is not that interesting, but I just wanted to try the technique. Any suggestion or critique is welcome. ![]() Another version: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3497/...68a84f01_o.jpg The original shot: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2634/...1dfc4876_o.jpg Cheers Minijag Last edited by minijag; 11-06-2009 at 11:39 PM. |

I think you did a good realistic looking HDR and some people like and others will hate There is a bit of a yellow cast that bothers me a bit but not to extremes. The composition of the shot is not quite there.

As far as the HDR technique goes, I like it. The photo (for me at least) looks exactly like the light on a hillside which you can see through passing storm clouds.
Compositionally -- yeah, it's nothing special, but you know that already.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
Yes, composition isn't that good, but it is, in fact, a photo takern from my office window, and the bottom of the image is actually the top of the building in front of me - I just cropped immediately above the A/C gear and other stuff... So, the trees and "the house on the hills" is just that little piece of nature I can see from where I stand! Cheers Nuno Castelhano (aka Minijag) |
