You're underexposed sky is to close to white for the program to tell the difference. My suggestion is to shoot 5 exposures at least unless you are shooting a very well lit subject. SInce this is in the shade you have more light variables such as the sky, tree trunks, leaves, water, etc... The more exposures the better. I always shoot 9 exposures which helps retain more light range and less noise then if I only shot 3 exposures.

^what he said , the sky in your darkest picture isnt dark enough, however someone else mentioned pre processing it to bring out some of the blue, and that could help, might want to pre-process the middle exposure as well for a slightly darker sky just to help, and even with that some post-processing the HDR will probably be necessary, best of luck!
