Default Retro effect

Hi,

I was hoping to get some comments on the photo below in terms of composition and processing style. I took this photo during my trip to sydney recently. I was trying to give it a retro/vintage look using some cross processing technique which I've learned.

Thank you very much in advance!

Cheers,

A couple of things.
First I'd like to invite you to check these out so you'll know all to include within your posts

I find the image interesting in the fact that it has the possibilty to tell many a story.
The processing tho leaves the birds blending in too much with the background.

I love to play with cross processing, as I used to do a lot of it with film. I think you were trying to simulate E6 as C41 here. Nice color shift, but too much contrast and almost monotone. Really nice effort though. I would love to see more.
