Default Excalibur Hotel @ Sunset - Fake Tilt/Shift - C&C Please!

Canon 1Ds Mark II
50mm F/1.2L USM @ F/1.2
ISO 200

This is a photo I have processed with a fake tilt/shift effect. How does it look? Natural? Do people like this perspective or are there other more effective positions where tilt/shift might work? C&C on any aspect of this photo are welcomed and much appreciated!

Tilt/shift works much better when using a photo taken from a high vantage point. Also more exposure is need to the areas blurred as it is hard to make out what they are.

I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish here. I have always used the perspective or deform tool to straighten verticals in a picture that the film plane was not parallel to the object being photographed, or to change perspective on an object to infer depth or misalignment.

My aim was not to correct any sort of perspective, but rather to provide a more unusual one. I could care less if the verticals are strait.

I see the perspective change now, and the area OOF, I apologize.
