This photo may put you off because of the post processing, but what do you really think? Is it a bit over done or what. An honest response please and no praising please as I get enough of that from family and friends

Hi Jake, just fixed your photo for you. When posting your photos from Zooomr you can just use the code that's in the embed box on the right hand side of the picture. Just copy and paste all of that into your post.
![]() I personally think that the photo looks overdone. I think what really makes it look overdone to me is the fact that there seems to be little depth to the jacket (there's texture but not depth) and then the hat seems normal but for the halo around it from possibly oversharpening. Overall the process seems to be missing some sort of consistency. The hat seems pretty normal looking, the jacket seems over sharpened, the woman in the back seems slightly blurred but then the pillar next to her looks like it's had a different treatment. It may just be how it turned out, I'm not sure. I guess I'm not sure the kind of look you were really trying to convey in the shot. Was it to make the hat stand out? Was it to turn this into more of a painting looking photo? Was it to make the subject wearing the hat stand out? Was it to blur the background? Was it just an exercise in post-processing?

Thank you Nicole
There is a dinky little story "behind" the Waxed Rose. It all began when I made a visit to a local art museum and the only real interesting subject was the receptionist who was also an artist. So far everyone likes the made up picture much better than the original 9 to1 |
