No critique, just wanted to say I love it! Looks really sci-fi - as if he was in the Matrix or something.

Thanks,

Yeah, this guy was Matrix all the way! I couldn't resist the opportunity to get the shot. I had to get my camera out nice and easy though so that i didn't scare him off. Heheh.

Too much wall on the left and it actually looks like you snuck a peek around the corner to steal the shot.

The thing that makes candid shots interesting for me is that the person is more than just a character. They have to somehow interact - or clash - with their surroundings. This guy's pose is boring and I don't visually tie him in with anything else. In other words, he's interesting, but the picture is not.

Does that even make sense???

Yeah, I see what you're saying in regards to how he is working (or not, as it were) within the environment. Perhaps I'll try some cropping to bring a little more to the composition at least.
Thanks

I re-cropped it and do actually like the composition a bit better. That was a good suggestion. I personally don't mind his pose. I think his nonchalance is an aspect of his character that i was drawn to in the first place.

Thanks

The crop definitely improves it. Is it just me, or does his beard look painted on?

I think the new crop looks better. Good job. I had to do a double take, I thought it was dog the bounty hunter.
