Red face Overly Processed?

This was shot at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL. I was experimenting with some effects in PS and really liked how this came out but was wondering if it looked overly processed - is the hazy blur too much? I desturated the color a bit too - was it too much?? Any comments or suggestions welcome.

I think the blur is a little too much for my liking and it could do with a bit of a crop to remove the door post on the left that keeps distracting the eye....Paul

I agree with the comments above but I also wanted to add that I think it is a nice shot.

I thought about cropping it out, but I thought it would make the picture look to cramped and kind of loose the open feel of the dining area. Maybe I could tone down that blur a tad too! Thanks for the feedback!

The blur is too blurry for me, and the picture needs a crop. Possibly try taking it from a different angle would be good.
Darken the light on the plates.. it's a bit too shiny.
But good shot.

i like the soft hazy look, it makes it looks like its a scene made in a 3d editing program, it doesn't like very real.

I agree, try a slightly tighter crop and mabe darken/viginette the outer edges to allow more attention on the table and lights.

personally I like the plate glow...it gives me a "who done it" surreal affect...should be a cover on an agatha christie book or something... the only thing I would have changed is cloning out the horizontal reflection from the glass and the blue reflection in the upper left.
