Default First HDR- Uni Room

Hello, i've been lurking a while and haven't really posted anything, so i thought I'd dive in with my most recent photos. I had my first attempt at making an HDR, bracketing the exposure from a tripod. I combined these images in Qtpfsgui, and applied some tone mapping. This was the end result:

I'm not entirely happy with it. I didn't want the effect to be overdone, but I'm not sure if this works all that well.

Any suggestions welcome. It's my first attempt, so looking to improve!

Cheers
Dave

I have not used this program before but from what others have said about it, it's not exactly the best program to tonemap with. Isn't this the program that doesn't have a GUI? You may want to take a look at photomatix instead since you can see what the sliders do in near real time. I think this image is over processed too much.

For composition I would remove the elements on the wall and the table out of the frame. I really like the texture on the wall, bed sheets and drapes on the window.

Default hi

Thanks for your reply. I downloaded Photomatiz and I'll have a play around with it. You're right- the lack of a GUI was somewhat restrictive
