Default Angel wings

I did my first newborn shoot /trial the other day and I think it went pretty well. The mum asked for an "angel wings" shot but I didn't have any and she forgot to buy some, so she asked if I could try to photoshop them on! Well I really dislike the angel wing photos personally, but of course didn't say so since she was really wanting it. Anyways I have tried to do this but with a different feel to it a bit more etherel I guess....My husband says it looks crap! I thought it was kinda cool, so basically I would love some other opinions

Little angel

Any feedback would be great as well as on the actual shot!

I think the wings are too transparent and you'll also need to add in a drop shadow to give them depth

Best results are going to be a re-shoot with purchased angel wings. If you must photoshop like Windrider stated they are too transparent and a drop shadow would really help.

Thanks for ur feedback guys I have tried to make them more opaque and added a faint shadow so pls let me know if u think this is better or worse! Murtasma, I will def ask the mum if she wants to reshoot with store bought, however here I was trying to do a similar thing but with a different take on it....something a bit more arty i suppose, but like I said I just can't tell anymore whether or not its working! Anyways heres the 2nd try.

take 2

They take away from the baby too much. I love the picture without the wings though,
