Default Lake before sunset

Took this this evening about 15 minutes before the sun fully set. Tried to darken some areas of the clouds that got blown out by photomatix.

What other improvements could I have made here while post processing in photoshop? I am using the method defined in the stuckincustoms.com processing tutorial. Just wondering if theres other good tips to take into account here on how to make it pop more.

Any other opinions as to what apertures/settings work best when trying to get good HDR photos?

Other than the "Greens" being a bit over saturated, I like it. Good work

The gray cloud interrupt is a nice change from all the "pretty" cloud shots... I love it!

Default Awesome

Awesome shot. Where can I capture one like this. I enjoy the entire image. I agree the greens are a little over saturated but the clouds look amazing. Nice work in post processing. I'm kinda curious what the original looked like.

Nice pic.
I think you need to remove some of the bottom, removing the pond "curb" in the lower left. Yes, you'll loose some of the left trees reflection, but it's not very important to the shot. I would reduce the luminance of the bright green grass a touch and then bump the overall brightness/contrast a touch...
At a larger size I imagine the red signs/tailights would be rather distracting and could be removed.

Yep the green is definitely overdone, I think. Sky looks natural (kind of).

Awesome shot. Like a couple of people said, the greens are over done a little. But the shot is great.
