This is my first attempt at an HDR. I took out the tripod and played with some bracketing. First thing I think I should change next time is do -2/0/+2 bracketing. This one was only -1/0/+1 bracketing.
Processed using Photomatix. Starting to get a feel for the settings, but how do you make it pop more? This hdr seems awfully flat. Although I do see a lot more detail than the 0 exp. photo, it still seems to not be as crisp as other HDR photos I've seen. Thoughts? ![]() Generic EXIF: Aperture: f/4.0 Focal Length: 50 mm ISO Speed: 100

You need quite a large tonar range to get best results...eg. sky and land...dark and light areas eg inside a church with windows....your image does not have a large tonal dif..but hdr does tend to flatten an image......Best to try again with another landscape....Paul
