Default Black-n-White Sunset

BW Sunset

I wouldn't normally take a sunset in black and white but I wanted to try something new. I'm curious how people like the angles of the capture. I was really restricted with what angles I used because of where the sun was setting in relation to the cross. I ended up liking the angled shot. However, my opinion is not all that matters. To go along with the angles of the capture how do people like the black and white. The colors were really vivid but I like the feeling of the black and white. Any critiques on the overall capture would be helpful also. Thank you!

for me, the angle of the cross is good. you might want to change the proportion of the sky vs. the ground to 2/3 sky, 1/3 ground. there is less contrast to the subject (cross) against the background which is i'm accustomed to look for a b&w photo.
i don't know if its a distortion or not but the cross seems leaning on the right... (hmm... maybe an optical illusion... )
can you post the original shot? i'm just curious on the colors...
