I think it is a great shot. I really like the deep reds. I would like to see a little more detail in the sky area near the horizon on the left side only because that black is overpowering that side of the frame. Horizon is near mid frame so either more sky or more field to move the horizon may make it a stronger image. Nitpicky comments as I do like it as is.

I like it as well!
A couple things tho, maybe tru burning the very very edge of the horizon so you dont have such a harsh line between the land and the sky. Not a huge thing, just something I am wierd about
I thought about more red inthe wheat but that might be overkill

I was thinking this yesterday I usually have a cooling down day onceI have a pic I am happy with where I come back to it and then criticise it harshly myself I reckon the horizon is way too sharp so will look into focusing the blend better Thank you !

From you high praise indeed windrider I will definitely be tryiong to blend the horizon in better I do have a red one somewhere hang on will post it for you ...

I did this to challenge my mom to oil paint it but again looking at it the horzon is a touch sharop still will definitely have to sort maybe blur it slightly ? and try moving the sunset left a touch to hide the large black area
