![]() One person was added to the image above (large version here), but I won't tell you which one. Instead, I've got a few questions for you: 1. Which of these people, in your opinion, was added in post? 2. What clues led you to that conclusion? 3. How would you improve the image? i.e. How would you hide the composite work? 4. If printed at roughly 14" x 11" and framed on a wall (you can check out a larger version to help you answer this), do you think the composite work will be obvious to most viewers? I'd appreciate your comments, critique, and honest answers to the questions above. You see, I'm not quite happy with the job I've done so far - but I'm not quite sure either if the composite work is as obvious as I think it is. So, what do you think?

I'm going to guess the third guy from the left was added in post just because of all the space around him and also the change of direction starting to the right of him. Other than all the available space, good job placing him (if it is him of course)
![]() I'm not really experienced enough to comment on compoisition, so I'll just give you some opinion. Can you change the chair/stool color in post? The seafoam green is a little out of place. The ceiling in the very top portion of the picture is distracting for me, as well as the panelling, and where the ceiling and panelling come together. Can you clone the ceiling out? Can you make the panelling less noticeable? Or maybe just a closer crop. I'm not sure, but that's my two cents.

Well, you've fooled me so it looks like a job well done as far as adding someone in. I looked over the larger size and it stilled looked pretty good. I still don't know who it is! I think it is very possible to continue seamless work and no one will be able to tell once it is printed, especially if it is going to be framed on the wall. I don't think anyone will get that close and examine.

I'm going to guess the guy all the way on the left - judging by the composition. He's kind of out in left field a bit, so to speak.

I agree with above...the last guy on the left. BUT had you not said that someone was added, I wouldn't have noticed. I think he looks well blended in, same pose, same lighting etc.
unless this is a trick question and no one was added in dun dun duuunnnnn

@ no.absolutes
Thanks! I do hope nobody notices - this will be quite a big print. In case you're wondering, heileyn got it right. @ haileyn I can think of a few reasons why he stands out, but I wonder - what clued you in? Would you have noticed if you weren't looking for the odd man out, so to speak? You got it, btw. @ SusanH1970 @ digirebelva @ utsc2006 It's not him, so I guess a few minor tweaks and this'll be ready for print soon. It's not a couples shot, btw, but the board of directors for our homeowners' association. |
