Default attempting to do a hdr image

can someone please tell me if this looks good. I just got told bout hdr a few days ago and i have been playing around with it but so far i dont think they are coming out like they should. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...INjuly1809.jpg

Well, it does have an HDR look about it but for some reason the sky looks strange to me. You didn't say what software you used to create this or what setting were used on the photos that make it up. That would help understand what is going on here.

I believe the clouds funny look is due to clouds moving between exposures.

A true HDR will have natural looking colors. If it is the surreal you are looking for adjust the tone mapping sliders to get what you want

It happened to me also this morning, as I tried Photomatix to make HDR. I got the shapes of your clouds too. Then I realized that I have forgotten to write in the right expousure difference between the shots. It happenned in Photomatix 2.4, but in newest version (3.2) it detects itself. I don't know which program did you use, but I descibed what happened to me. I hope that helps.
