Default colour shift working?

I loaded both the original and the processed version so people could compare (of course). I wanted to try to have the steps stand out more so I played in post. What do you think of the processed version. Remember my intent when you comment.

Marks out of 10 for your attempt to make the steps stand out 10....You are not over here in the UK in Wales are you....as both this and the railway tracks shot seem very familiar to me....Paul
