Default My second HDR- Dharahara,Nepal.

Hi. I had posted my first HDR wth lot of halo and a lot of places to be improved. Thsi is my second attempt in HDR. I tried to make as less halo as possible. But still it appears around the monument. Please critique.

hats off...

Nice shot

The halo does not bother me that much as it makes the spire stand out a little. My first question is did you nee the Increased dynamic range or were you just after the color impact?

As the subject is back lit the increase in dynamic range might have been needed to avoid a very dark tower. But if it was not needed I believe there are means of gaining the color impact with out the image degritation assocated with HDR.

Halo looks much more controlled in this image. I would take it a step further and perform these tweaks.

1. The tower appears to be leaning a little I think you need to rotate the image just a tad.
2. Place the original image over the tone mapped image here and drag the opacity down this will help smooth the halo out even further and reduce some of the dark grunge in the sky and building which is typical of images that have been tone mapped.
3. Use the healing brush on that dust spot on your sensor its on the left side of the tower near the top.

Thank you for sharing!
