Default HDR: My 'hood



Is this over proccessed?
I am using QTPFSGUI and Gimp, any hints for making the outcome better?
Any other helpful critique?

Exif:
EV: (well...its bracketed)
Shutter Speed: 50-200 (ev)
F stop: 4.5
iso 100

I find disturbing that it's not aligned. is the road going up or the house not 100% vertical?

I would say it is overprocessed.

The street is a hill. I suppose I could have fixed it, but this was more about my technique then the actual shot.

Your saturation is a bit too high on this one. Do you see the haloing that is occurring next to the house? You need to knock back your strength a bit and also your luminosity. This will also help with overall graininess that is apparent. Don't ever use more than one tone mapping pass! I dont use your software, I use Photomatix but Im sure you can understand what I am referring to. Just work on adjusting down some to find that nice medium between "normal" picture and HDR.

Feel free to let me know if you have any specific questions on HDR.
