Default HDR Second try, please critic it...

Hi all, this is my second try posting a HSR pic, now I followed the rules to create it

I took 5 pic with EVs # 10,11,12,13,14 which means
f 5.6
Tv 1/30, 1/60. 1/125, 1/250, 1/500
color temperature 4,700
tint +10

Then I merged them

Can you please critic post production results and composition?

Thanks Art

Sorry Art, I'm just not seeing a HDR here. When I think of HDR, I think of images such as these. http://www.flickr.com/groups/scoreme_hdr/

Is this the look you are after?

Thanks for the link, I agree with you, it does not look like that ones, but is not far from them, I will play with the curve when you are moving to 16 bits until I reach that effects

For an HDR the colors seem overly muted especially the plants....

This is one I did a while back

Not everything "POPS" but the main interest (the car) is what you are trying to highlight anyway

You're not going to get the heavy coloring in Photoshop because it doesn't have tone-mapping.
You need something like Photomatix.
There's a Photoshop tutorial that mimics tone-mapping here:

Hey Art , I remember looking at yr first one of these and think this is better , HDR seems to be where people have different views on what is best, some love the over done look others look to enhance colour and detail in dark areas , I fall into the first category , doesnt make me right just shows my preference. I use Qtpfsgui as this is free and doesnt watermark yr images, as I have only done one car thought I might pop it in just for an example (not great at linking to things yet ) I struggle with the computer more than the camera , hope you dont mind .
porsche 356s

Again this is only my preference and get plenty of criticism for it but remember its yr right to go for the look that you like , and let others do with their images as they like . All the best , I think you are on the right track .
