Default British Seaside

Thought I'd try a heavily processed, slightly cross processed look on the photo on the beach.

Does the look suit the scene?
What about the PP itself, is it well done/over the top/pointless?

Anything else?

Unless this was taken on the "Red Clay" beach, the processing does come across overdone to me. The black vignette seems to contradict the "Bright Sunny Beach" theme also.

Agree with Trader. The vignetting disturbs me most - it really doesn't fit the subject matter of the photo IMO

I think the coloring/vignetting is ok, but what keeps disturbing me is that I'm trying to see what they're looking at and I can't. Composition just doesn't work for me.
