Default Little One...

I was wondering what you thought of the post processing... does it work for this shot? I wanted to just go with black and white, but it didn't look right to me. So I did a black and white gradient at 50%. TIA!

I think the PP made the photo a little on the dark side. I like the area you shot this in but the bicycle, boy and those folks in the background form a leading line taking my attention out of the photo. There seems to be something distracting on the right rail also. At first I thought it was lens flair but I think it is a flower.

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't even noticed the people sitting in the background until I had looked through my pics.

I like it. I think the folks in the background lends a purpose for the little one to climb the steps and take a peek. There's a story here. The flowers? A wee bit distracting.
The 50% B&W grad? I think it worked well.
