Default Anything you want. 2nd try at Multiplicity.

This is my 2nd try at multiplicity, however, it didn't turn out like I thought it would. Taking self portraits is quite a task sometimes. lol.

Camera: Nikon D40X
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 20 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: +1 EV
Flash: Auto, Fired, Return detected

Let me know what you think.

Hm, interesting -- it looks like you (could have) just taken three separate photos against the same (blank) background and merged them together -- I'd really like to see some kind of interaction, or story, or an interesting setting -- anything at all other than just three copies of you standing there.

Good points. That's what I was aiming for, however, that didn't quite turn out. Maybe next time.

It is the "story" that is important for a multiplicity photo. The more interaction you can get between your "clones", the more magical the result.

What was your original vision for this shot?

Wulf

ps. Since you seem to be focused on this shot rather than the general multiplicity technique, I have moved it to the critique section.

Just for a bit of creative insight.....you ca nhave the middle you with the newspaper looking over your shoulder at the other you who would be trying to read over your shoulder and then the other looking at the paper when your head is turned. Find a park bench or a bust stop bench....might add that bit of story to it.....
