Default Stonehenge in Washington State

Ok, here's my first REAL attempt at HDR. This is a WWI memorial located in Southern Washington, just off of the Columbia River. HDR done in Qtpfsgui and further processed in GIMP.

Just need some general constructive criticism regarding coloring, technique, and anything else you think you can add to the discussion. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

I think that you can make the clouds pop in a better 3D shape in HDR. Also the while halo that surrounds the memorial can be decresed.

Other than that it looks fine and the colors are bright and beautiful.

Seems like a great subject and not a bad work up with QTPFSGUI but im curious as to what you used as far as the type of Qtpfsgui?
I think the way you did it relly played with the color some. The foreground seems a bit too warm in areas and the sky seems bland, not enough contrast from clouds to sky.
If you do a slight Fatal and then open the image again and do a strong Mantiuk then lay the matiuk over the fatal and blend with overlay it gives real nice results requires some playing around to get the right amount of each. I use to know the right values but havent played with that program in a long time.
I think you should play around with it a bit more see what other ways you can come up with.....

too bright or needs contrast probably. You can work with the angle; tilt it abit clockwise.
the tree on the right is disturbing my eyes. :P

Good things: Good distance to teh subject. The yellow dried grass compliments the "stone hedge

LMAO!!! I have no idea what any of this means but it sure reads funny.

Sorry, as for the photo...
I find the "B" on the front stone a little distracting.
IMO I also found the whole effect to be one of too much lightness. Maybe Eyads suggestion re the clouds could add more definition which would give a bit more depth.
I really liked that the curve of the path and the top curve of the stones mirror each other with a similar angle. Gave me a nice feeling of symmetry.

Actually, as I've gotten to know that software more, I know exactly what it means! I'm actually using that advice for my next project, which I will be uploading shortly...
