Default Heavy Machines... HDR

Hi All,

This is my first attempt in HDR, got +1, 0 and -1 exposure differences and merged them together.

Later I used photoshop to do some curves adjustment and masking... Small touch of Lucis Art.

This was the best angle to shoot from, so I can show the result of this beast's work!

Does it stand out as HDR image?

hi..im new to hdr myself. so im no expert. you look like your off to a good start.
i do think you can make this image more dramatic with some extra adjustments. i use photomatix and have no idea what im doing..i just move those sliders around until i like what i see. then i use lightroom to further enhance lighting and color.
your photo looks like it needs more contrast so more of the details come to life.
hdr is tough...keep at it..when you've nailed it those images really are mindblowing

Hi Eyad,
love the image, not too over done and makes the 360 stand out perfectly.I love all the destruction in the background and it makes for an excellent image. I really like the colouring in it too, I am wanting to try my hand at HDR and have seen some images which are far too over done but yours is cracking. Thanks for sharing it. looking forward to seeing more.

BTW, the toughest part in daytime shooting will be the blue sky!!

In HDR the highlights will be blown out completely, you might find big white halos in the sky due to the HDR rendering.

I masked out the sky from a darker version of the same photo, and did some adjustments to make the clouds pop out with a 3D look.

So even after doing the HDR, still had to use some PP... I'm just in love with this technique.
