Default Orchid

Orchid

How do the edges of the petal look, especially the bottom ones? There was actually another Orchid behind the one you are seeing, so I had to clone it out. Also had to use the clone tool to fill in two small dents in the upper left and right petal. Bucket tool used to make the background a pure black. Oh, and I cloned out the branch that's actually holding the orchid, so now, it looks like it's floating.

hi...
i'd crop out some of the blackground.. theres too much at the top.
as far as it floating..i agree. i think your composition would be more interesting if you cropped so that stem is at the edge. you'd lose those bottom buds though.
