i shot this using 3 bracketed shots and processed them in photomatix.
i found the background (especially the white house behind the car) a real distraction. i loved the way the tarp and car looked so i tried to save the photo by giving it a surreal effect and using a zoom blur on the background.. how did i do? ![]() link to large version: http://www.flickr.com/photos/littlen...27583/sizes/l/ |

I like the efffect you created! only thing bothering me is the tree on the right side. I wish more of the front end was showing.

I love the effect, and the colors are great. The tree isnt a bother for me, infact I think the way the two trees frame the shot is cool, overall great job (;

I like the front end of the car behind the tree. I think it creates a bit of tension.
I'm not sure that the zoom blur was the way to go. To me, zoom blur indicates motion and the rest of the image is obviously stationary. I do like the horizontal light patterns on the side of the pic which might be caused by the zoom blur,
