Default High Key.. am I on the right track?

I have been interested in high key portraits for a while now and decided to try my own with photoshop. Here is my self portrait with the high key effect done using curves in PS.

Am I on the right track here? Is there anything that I can do better?

No EXIF info.. sorry

You can get the EXIF from your flickr page. Over on the right side, click where it says "more properties". Your exif will come up, and you can copy and paste it here.

Yes, you are on the right track. A good example of high key. A little desaturation of colors or B/W conversion might make it "more high key", but not really necessary. The only area of improvement might be composition....

Right track?
Sort've...
I would encourage you to try to get the high key effect in camera instead of solely depending on curves. When you use curves this way, you lose shadow detail (yes there should still be shadows) and the overall shot just looks milky, as opposed to high key.
