If you are wanting to have a main focal point, such as the lgo, you may want to bring it more into the frame. As it sits, the hood of the car is overpowering the entire shot.
As far as adding the lens flare, in my opinion its too strong. Its totally hiding part of the hood ornament. A little bit subtle would go a lot further. It appears you are shooting mid day. Trying to take a photo this time a day can be challenging as you can see from the overexposed colors in the background. Try earlier in the day or towards sunset

I like the idea of the lens flare to add some twinkle to the logo but I will agree that it needs to be toned down a bit. I think a shot from another angle to excentuate the benz logo will make it more prominent in your shot.
As far as this shot goes try removing the lens flare and convert to black and white. Or just paint the background black and white. |

Agreed that a different angle would bring new life to this shot, but in this iteration, remember that a flare has to show up in the reflection on the hood, as well. Much more dim, of course, but it should be there.
