Image correction and some minor adjustments

I'm practicing some PP techniques and would like your input.
Before image was really orange and it was really hard to fix it for some reason, I did my best.
Can I have some good critique on this image? Thanks!

Your original image is almost correct. The orange tone is due to the color of light reflecting on her from the sun. Really the only thing that was needed is sharpening as the image is a bit flat.

I did a slight Curves adjustment, you can see that little has changed in the tone, and slightly sharpened the image.........



Sorry but the second image is way to cold and the skin tones do not look natural.

Just try to sharpen the image a little. The way you have captured the light with her hair is nice, you have managed to get the shot with no shadows in her face, and she has a nice bright smile.

And the background is nicely out of focus, and the diagonal lines go with the slight tilt of her head. Making it a really nice photo.
