Here's my first attempt at HDR, I like how the effect is subtle. Since it's my first try at anything like this I'd just like some general critique/feedback to see if I'm doing it right. I used Photomatix Pro 3.11, using a photo at 0 ev, one at -2 and another at +2. I used the raw format to make these exposure adjustments.

Very subtle indeed -- the best kind of HDR. What's that bit of fence doing on the bottom?

Looks really awesome and the mood is great, but I am distracted by that bit of fence on the bottom left. Any way to crop it out? Otherwise, really like !!!

Mmmm, the fence. there was a sign as well, which I managed to crop out. I could try and get the railings too.
It was rather annoying that my best shot of the island also had that annoying railing in. Does the council not understand the plight of the photographer!

Its a nice HDR....good job keeping a gentle touch. I think if it were mine I'd clone out the railing. If you crop it you'll lose one of those waves breaking at the bottom which I think is a nice touch.
There is also a bird that to me looked like a dark dust speck. I'd clone that out also and the last bit that is catching my eye is the little tiny bit of land off to the right. The detail in the large version is really nice and a great scene for framing. Nicely done!
