Thanks for taking a look at this. I don't know how to post a link - I only know how to post a photo from Flickr . I'll just wait and see if anyone asks for it and then try to work it out then.The exposure threw me off a bit, too. That's why I sent it here before deciding if I liked it !

I actually think it looks fine! Almost a bit cross processed. Looks like the brightness was raised which would lighten the yellows and whites to almost blend and the red would pop a bit more.
I think the blown out area behind the flower and vase works great in this shot keeping the attention on the subject!

if the area behind the flower had no texture it would not have worked. As it is, it really is a stunning image. The different colors and symentrical shapes work very well together.My one and only suggestion would be to maybe bring out the yellow in the middle of the flower more to balance it off with the vase.
