Hi all, my first time here so be gentle. I'm just getting back into photography and wanted to see what everyone thought of this shot. I was actually looking for potential HDR shots in a local cemetary when I saw this small blue angel. I got as low to the muddy ground as I could and fired off a quick set of bracketed shots with a Canon EOS 40D. The HDR version didn't give me anything I liked so I started playing with a fake Lensbaby effect in PS CS3 and then from that created this faux-Holga shot. There are three layers at work here - two with different Gaussian Blurs and saturation adjustments - one of those layers also has some warping - and then I added some grain and fake corner vignetting. Finally I put it in a sloppy border frame. Critique away!

Nice job! I think you did a good job with your post processing. One little detail I would add would be to actually burn the edges of the actual picture resting on the sloppy border frame. You can see sharp defined edges which would not be the case had this actually been a film image while using a negative carrier that allows slop.
I love the pop of the angel and the flowers in front, I think the fake lens baby effect worked well here and getting low certainly helped with perspective and composition. Thank you for sharing! Welcome to the forum!
