Default Soft Focus, Did I get it right?

I am trying to learn some post edit techniques. I was playing with some old pictures taken a couple of years ago. What do you think? Did I go to far or are the just right. I am new to this so I need some other opinions. Let me know what you think or how these could be even better. I have included links to some others as well as an original so you can see the difference. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I posted these this morning and no one has any comments at all. Any opinions or CC are welcome. I know someone must have something to say...I want to do this for some friends kids but want to be sure it's not too much editing. I want some experienced critique. Thank you all. I will try to be more patient.

Post work you have done looks good, her face however looks just a little bit pale to me, increasing the color a little may help.

Thank you, that is the kind of thing I was looking for. Sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes to see these things that my tired eyes may not notice after hours of staring at the same image on my screen. I have made some adjustments and posted them in my flicker...let me know if she looks less pale and more warm.

Thank you again, very much!

Michelle,

I think you are in the right direction but does this come close to her true skin tone? Only you can tell. Maybe just a little toned down.

Whilst working on this pic, also try and clone out the scratch on the bottom lip and also the shiny speck on her cheek.

I had a look at the largest version on your flickr and she is a gorgeous little girl.

Thanks for sharing.

Arun,
You were right I went a bit too far. I think I was tan happy. I have fixed that, I think, and I also noticed the scratch and I did clone that out. I did not notice the glittery speck until you pointed it out. Thank you, that is also gone now.
Thank you for the compliment. We love her. Of course as her Mom I am biased to think my girls are beauties. I am very lucky to have two very pretty models that have fun trying new things with me.
It was nice to have an outside opinion and fresh eyes. Thank you very much for all your help.
