Hi,
I'm new at DPS and I basically just want to know what people think about this photo. It's taken at Bausen, a very small town in Vall d'Aran (Spain). I've applied a selective desaturation to the door. I've never had any of my work critiqued so any type of critique is accepted and very much appreciated.

It all depends on what you are trying to acheive. My first instinct was to look at the door that had the brightest color. If thats what you wanted, then thats ok.
But, I would think you would want your main focal point to be more of the tower in the middle. Its a great shot, you just have to decide where you want your strongest points to be

I agree with Windrider: I'd love to see the same technique applied to the tower. Right now the tower and the door are competing for my attention, but I think that the tower wins (because of its prominent position).
Overall a very dramatic photo. I wish I were there!
