This is kind of a cliche shot around here as there isnt much to shoot for a landscape photographer in Oklahoma City. I tried to get a little bit different take on it and just wondered what people that are not used to seeing this shot thought of it. How is the comp and is the HDR realistic looking or overdone?

Man, i dont really know what to critique here as i really like it. It has the sureal painting like effect to that is quite soothing.
My one and only suggestion might be to darken the really bright area on the one side or crop it down all together

I wouldnt mind at all except Im not real good at it even though there really isnt much to tell. I took 9 shots using a tripod ranging from -4 exposure to +4 exposure while in Av mode on my camera. Then I went to photoshop CS3 and clicked File>Automate>Merge to HDR I then slected the 9 shots, turned off the option to line up the shots and hit ok and let the software do its thing. After its done apply a slight unsharp mask to it ad my drop shadow frame and my signature.
