Default Creepy Feeling?

One of the things I consider when PPing a photo is the feeling that it gives the viewer.. The first reaction I've gotten was creepy. I'm liking that so far. What feelings do you get? What could I do to give more feeling to the picture?

I like the over all idea but am not sure the blue in the sky makes it feel creepy. just dark. I would go for more of a black and white and maybe highlight the cross a bit

I agree. It just feels dark or underexposed. You could try what windrider86 suggested. Perhaps increasing contrast and decreasing saturation might do something for it...

if you want it creepier which I think the shot is perfect for it just convert to B&W and add the slightest motion blur.....then vignette the edges......maybe even a it of a scratch texture.....

Ok.. i so redid the picture with a black and white feel.. added a little more of a gaussian blur.. and brightened the area around the cross.. what do you think now? or do you prefer the original?
