I think moving the position to of the camera to the street to get the light, cars and trees out of the frame could create a more powerful composition. I would also remove the yellow color cast over the image. I think you have good depth of field in the image but stopped all the way down to f22 was probably a little over kill and could lead to diffraction but I'm not familiar with that particular lens you are using so it may not be a problem but f16 would probably have been plenty for this image.

I really like the glass on the building and architecture. I think you picked a good subject to photograph here but perhaps going for the details in the building like the reflection particularly around the part of the building that sticks out could lead to some nice shots as well.

Thanks for sharing

BTW: This is not HDR this is a tonemapped image of a single raw exposer. Unless of course you manually entered the EXIF data back into the image after it was converted from 32 or 16 bits if it was a true HDR image there would be no EXIF data availabe since that information is stripped out.

Actually it wasn't from a single raw file. More like 5 or 6 different exposures. I don't know which metadata flickr pulls out. The image was created in photomatix

Which version of photomatrix are you using? What file type did you save the tone mapped output from photomatrix in? Really it's not an HDR file, it's a tone mapped image for a HDRI file. Monitors that can display true HDR cost 30k +.

Hm. It reminds me of computer-generated images that are used to show what the building will look like when it is finished. It's got a sort of artificial feel. I don't know if that's what you're going for, but if it is, you achieved it nicely.

You could try moving the car and tree out of the picture like Murtasma suggested, and see what you get. I think this is fine. (Almost to the point of over-processing, in fact—the whole CG thing.)

The general layman's term used almost universally is to refer to these as tone mapped HDRs. I think everyone can tell what is meant by HDR when it is used in these forums, considering no one viewing this website (probably) has a monitor capable of displaying true HDR images.
