Default Amusement parks are fun during winter too

A week ago I was walking around with my camera and thought I take a snap of the local amusement park. It was dark already and I didn't have tripod with me so of course the shot was blurry. Today I went back with my tripod.

This is HDR with some other tweaks here and there but that's not what I'm worried about at this point. I think the composition is kinda boring and maybe I cropped it too tight. How do you make the composition better in this particular case? Or tall buildings/structures in general? Just so you know there's a road and street lights near the "bottom of the image (outside the picture)" and I found them quite distracting (hence the tight framing...). Any suggestions and comments would be nice... composition or post process, either are welcomed. Be as brutal as you want.

The treatment you've given it has a sort of apocalyptic feel. The roller coaster looks like the wreckage of steel framed buildings. I love iit!

Great HDR.

As for composition, I'd almost like to see a shot of just the rollercoaster. Maybe go back and re-compose.

It is COLD in finland, though. As it is here!

I'll try that. Might have to wander around to see if i can get closer for that since I don't have bigger zoom. Or just crop major chunk of the photo. :P

What comes to it being cold... It's all relative. It was only -5°C or so this time which I don't think is all that cold but I didn't have my winter coat on so I was freezing my ass off after 15 mins. >.<

Thanks for the comments. More are welcome though.

i LOVE it! love the color, the lights, and there's so much to look at. the only thing i would change is to do a slight rotate so the tower isn't leaning. otherwise great shot! and the pp is wonderfully different than the "usual".

I just did some testing with vertical lines and seems the tower is only 0.1° off. I think it's the shape of the structure or perspective that's causing it to look like it's leaning but it's really not. Or maybe that 0.1° is enough to make it clearly visible?

on a second look, i think it's because of that horizontal cloud or whatever is behind it. since it's not perpendicular to the tower, it was making it look "off" to my eye.
