torqueguru, Welcome
- Since Critique is "One thread every 24-hours," you'd be limited to that for a new image in a new thread. - You can add a new image here after a few replies (which you have gotten), and interested members will return to see them. Or they'll think, "I know what's there already," and pass by. - If you have some to show and don't necessarily want Critique, try Share Your Shots (4 photos allowed in one thread). From response there, you might pick the best responded-to, and put that in Critique. Some choices, depending on what you need/want.

One of the the things I like best in this, is the reflections of the clouds in the window. That, in my opnion, makes the whole scene. I also like how the wheels are turned out so it gives the whole car a more dimensional look.
I might try and get rid of the telephone lines by cloning or using the scratch remover tool. They really take away from the scene. One thing I do with my hdr images is to try and remove some of the noise that apears. Especially when you are using something like Topaz Adjust or are trying to duplicate an hdr image with using one image.

@jiminyClickit
Thanks! That makes so much more sense now! I will do that.@windrider86 Thank you for taking the time to give a detailed critique . I was very unhappy with the telephone lines as well. In India these poles are everywhere and they spoil the shot in almost all the time!!! I will try and clone it out. I just read about Topaz Adjust, pretty new piece of information u threw at me there! Thanks! I never knew a single image can yield such results. So will try it out. i always get a lot of noise with my HDR shots, is it because the files are of Jpeg type? I have read that RAW gives better HDRs with lesser light. Regards, TG.

what is your iso set at? A high number can produce a lot noise/grain/
One thing I do a lot (forgive me cause I am no expert but can only tell you what works for me) is to do a noise removal. Topaz Adjust offers a wonderful plugin for that (and have heard Noise Ninja works well to) you can set your settings at the least amount to avoid losing deatil. If you do, you can always re-sharpen in certain areas, be sure to do this on a duplicate layer Another way that i like to sharpen is by using the high pass effect, set at about 10. then set the blend mode to overlay. if its too sharp you can lower the opacity or if you only like certain areas you can erase the areas you dont want to stay in your final image. I hope this makes sense. Altho I love Topaz, using it to create an hdr like image doesnt make it a true hdr. Combing different images at different exposures is a true hdr.

Looks great! Jim's spot on - look's exactly like a car advertisment
![]() I love HDR for this reason - you don't need expensive equipment to do awesome HDR shots like this, you just need a good subject. I'm surprised more people don't try
