Interesting photo. Because of the pp and the leading lines my eyes are drawn down the path and into the lush green bushes in the background. It took me a few seconds to find the child at the end of the path. Maybe darkening up the vibrant green BG may be enough to lead eyes directly to the child. I think if I were to compose this shot I would have had the child on the path halfway down. Just my opinion. Good colours though! One more thing, try to take the post behind the child out of the shot.

Thanks for that. And re-looking at the pic I can see how it looks like the lady (she was about 50) has a pole sticking out of her head.

I will try bits to make her stand out more.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

Default for looking for feedback...

I'm new to the forum so I hope I don't rehash old news. Most point and shoot cameras have a distance of about 4 feet to about 35 feet where they get the best photo focus, although you can get nice long distance photos too. So if you took the same photo of the woman taking a photo at the end of the wall - getting a bit closer to her would give you more ability to play with the sharpness, composition, etc. I like the lines of your photo. I like the aspect of being allowed to see a moment in time that might otherwise be missed. It draws you in. The concept was nice - I'd have tried for a slightly tighter shot.

Well you can tell your model that your pictures make her look younger! :-)
