Default Attempt at HDR of Memorial Stadium

Hello, I just used 3 exposures for this HDR which I put together using CS3. I feel like it just doesn't pop..really at all. Instead it's rather calm. What can I do to make it pop, do I have to get a certain program? How about composition wise, because I feel as if it's very rudimentary rule of thirds.

Stadium Sky HDR

Thanks!

try playing round with the levels (R,G, & B) and then if it still needs a bit more pop create a new layer > desaturate > merge > and set to overlay (if you invert the grayscale image this sometimes works also).

one or two passes of sharpening can help also (bring our the details of the seats)

You can try the demo of photomatrix or dynamic-hdr. You can search google to find a demo of both these applications. You may have more luck with these two programs getting those over processed look. As for composition, I feel like you have to much blue sky in the image. I think a more interesting composition would be to point the camera down a little more to have something interesting like the benches in the foreground and the sunset at near the top of the frame.

You have to use photomatix plug-in, or something similar, to make the colors pop easily. There're ways to do it in photshop but it's a long process. I recomend PhotoMatix merge the photos then you can throw it back into photoshop and mess with curves and make it even better. Good luck. Go to my site and loock at the boat picture for example of what I mean.

I use "Essential HDR" and it is very easy and the free version works well.
