Default Streets



You can see the large size here (worth a look IMO) and the original (not processed) version clicking here.

It's made using Lightroom for basic adjustments and then Photoshop, mainly masking some zones and adjusting the levels.

EXIF:
EOS 400D + Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5
1/50 at f3.5, ISO 200 @ 17mm

It looks pretty good overall.
Just curious why you left the person's head in the shot.
I think I would have either let them get a little further down the road and shot their silhouette, or emitted the person all together.

Hi Japaslavian, thanks for your comment. Sincerely, I didnt' realize there was someone in the shot when I took the photo. Shame on me. Later, in the computer, I saw her but it would be hard to delete the silhouette, and cropping the photograph to leave her out would ruin the photograph.

A very nice shot. 17mm on a crop body like that is nice and wide, really fills the space nicely. Your subject is also very good. The lighting and overall effects are good as well.

The shot is well taken but it lacks Life. It is a pity that the person at the bottom was not 3/4 up the road, or even a rubbish bin or bycicle or something on the street just to add some life.
