Default sunflower blues

hello everybody

got this while vacationing in the city of pines, Baguio City, around 250km north of manila..

im looking for help.. i really liked this shot except for (you guessed it..) the darn cables at top.. i tried different things with my PS elements, but sad to say it reached my limit (technically)

could anybody share some tips on how to remove it?

there are a few ways to remove it. The easiest way would be to crop the photo close enough to remove the lines. You could use your clone or healing tool to follow the lines and clone it out. There is also a line removing tool in some programs.
I would also be inclined to remove the dark object off to the side of the sunflower

hello windrider

thanks for the tips..

im really keen on keeping the upper portion above the flower.. i tried the cloning thing with the cables but i cant make it seamless enough.. im not sure about the healing tool tho..

hey yea.. id cut off the protruding object on the left side also..

im not too sure, but is cloning done by coloring the part you want to remove with the color of its surrounding?

not quite familiar with the terms yet..

cloning is taking one area of an image and basically copying it onto another part of an image. it covers up the parts you want to hide.
