Default My first HDR post

Hye,
Well I did a few HDRs before and this is the 3rd one as far as I can remember and it is the picture that I am confident of showing and to be criticized.

Penang Town Hall

So as usual some description about the picture, this is the picture of Penang Town Hall. I decided to give it like a pale dark look cause it was taken around 5-6pm right after the rain so it was a lil bit dark. I played around with the post-processing, and I came with a colored field and a desaturated (at the side)/saturated (centre) field picture (the one you seeing now). I picked the second one cause I feel it give some old/historic effect to the picture.

So feel free to criticize it, I would love to improve. (Edited the photo)

was just curious is all. I do like the effect you gave it except for the strange hue in the sky. The orange glow just doesnt seem to fit the dark vingette. but thats just me

I'm a great lover of vignetting, but this one seems just a little lop-sided. Its tricky to describe, but it seems that the vignette on the bottom left hand corner seems to creep a little further in than the bottom right. It might just be me, or it could have something to do with the composition of the picture, and the dark patch of trees.

EDIT: Other than that, though, I think its rather good!

Hmm, you are right, the bottom left hand corner look a lil bit darker then the right but the funny part is, I just used Aperture vignetting for it so erm I think it has something to do with the composition of the picture.

...currently learning how to use Photoshop (I think every photographer should know how to use photoshop, dont you think so?)

Thanks anyway

Cool subject, you could maybe try to crop the grass out a little bit and up the exposure on the final image. Did you photoshop HDR feature? Take a look at Photomatix, it can make things a bit more... punchy
