Default First Processed Photo

Hi All,

This is my first post processed photo. I am completely unfamiliar with Photoshop and decided to start messing around with it and this is what I came up with. I have to admit it was quite fun messing around with all the options. Do you think it has too much of a blur effect? Any comments/critiques are appreciated. Thanks.

I think you did well. I love the lighting of this photograph.

Thanks lputman. I appreciate it. Can you tell me how you got the Flickr link next to your name?

Copy the URL for your flickr photostream. Edit your signature and you can type "flickr" and then highlight it and press the globe/link icon. Paste the URL there and you should be good to go.

I like the lighting of the picture, but I think there's slightly too much of a hazy effect. It could be that I like my photos really crisp, but especially in the bottom left corner (where it's just branches) looks fake.

Can you post the original or tell us what exactly you did in your post-processing?

Hi Sarah.. here is the original. I did 50% opacity and then just a Gaussian blur.
