looking for some crit on composition and technique here..

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, in California

I think this is an interesting perspective. The HDR is a bit intense for my taste. I like the shadows in the foreground so I wouldn't crop anything there. I would try to level the horizon but you have to adjust the perspective so that the pillars don't lean.

Nice shot. I like the subject and composition. I also think the HDR is a little overdone (halo's around the clouds, etc) - but that can also be personal taste, so make sure you temper that thought with what you like too

I'm diggin' it. I would agree with the horizon relative to the pilons, but I suspect that using the lens you did, there's probably not much you could do with it.
