Default Polaroid in Photoshop

Hi guys. I just got this program that converts pictures into polaroids and I though, I could make that myself I think, so I gave it a shot. I used a stock texture for the photo, and a stock frame for the polaroid, and altered the colors in photoshop with curves adjustments.

Does anything stand out to you as photoshopped? Something just not look right/realistic???

Very nice conversion! Looks like a Polaroid. Nothing stands out as an obvious edit. Maybe could be darker and more contrasty.

I haven't seen a real Polaroid in awhile, but were they able to do tight DOF like this? I can't remember.

Probably not able to get this DOF actually. I should keep that in mind with these conversions lol

To follow up on the focus issue. Polariod cameras used hyperfocal focusing rather than actually being able to focus. Therefore eevrything from 4 ft to infinty was in focus so if you wanted to capture a subject 3ft away you couldn't. Hence the depth of field in you shot gives it away as a fake!

Oh wow! Thanks for the tip! I had no idea. I've never even actually taken a picture with a polaroid! Thats good to know. ;-)

Pierre81385,

Uhhh, this is also the back of a Polaroid frame. The front doesn't have the folded-over edges nor printing. The picture area would be black if this were a real back. Sadly.
