I made this with Qtpfsgui from a single jpg file and I like the result. But, I feel like if something is missing.
Does it look empty?
Am I missing a subject?

Costanera Tigre)

The photo was taken with a Pentax K100D super.
Exposure 1/125
ISO 200
Focal length 18mm (equivalent 27mm in my camera)
F-stop 6.7

I think its a nice piece with QTPFSGUI but think the detail in it is a bit too much.
I love the scene and think maybe its a bit unbalanced. Too bad that boat coming at you wasn't a 100 yards or so closer...
Is this a crop of a shot?

Ask yourself is this a picture of a river? or is it something else as in a portrait of a landscape? What is the focal point? Does the sidewalk lead anywhere? Where you going for the over processed look?
It's definatley moody but I have to wonder if it might be more effective if it was simpler. The lone boat on the river vs the trees and the path

No it's not, but I can not crop it if I want to because I've lost the original and all I have is this pic (I know, I should made a backup) at low res.

Well, yes its a picture of a river, and the focal point is the river itself.
The sidewalk leads to nowhere (literally, it ends right there).
I was trying to give a surreal look to the image (like in this pic)
I guess you are right next time I should be more simpler.
